Attire:  Dancers are expected to be dressed appropriately for dance classes.  Females are to wear a solid color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes for ballet class, and black jazz pants or teacher approved legwear for all other classes.  Male students are to wear a white T-shirt and opaque black tights or jazz pants.  Each class level may have a slightly different shoe type, leotard color and legwear, so please inquire at class before purchasing. 

 Classes:  Our classes offered are: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Ballroom, Modern/Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. We have also added Pilates to our available classes, for men and women, with a trained certified instructor. 

 Encore: Encore is our school's company and is comprised of students by audition/invitation only who are of high school age or older.  Encore's primary concentration falls in jazz and contemporary but is certainly not limited to that. Tap is also offered to those company memebers who excell in tap, but is not required for those who have never had tap before.  These students must be enrolled in ballet classes to remain in Encore.  The company meets at least twice a week for 4 hours, aside from ballet and any other additional classes the students may be enrolled in.  Our company  performs locally for numerous community events from the Chamber of Commerce, 4th of July Parade,  to the annual christmas tree lighting downtown Augusta, to name a few. The company is featured in our annual Halloween and Nutcracker shows and has won many awards at reigonal and national dance competitions.
